If musicals were real
Yesterday I was having a rather weird conversation with my friend Nichole in a science class about what It would be like if real musicals actually happened at random times in today's society like 'High School Musical' or 'Hairspray'. Although this would be cool to watch and bitterly laugh at, their are a few things that would make this a bit strange.
Firstly, in many musicals the main character will start singing some crappy song about how he loves some girl. And then miraculously, everyone around him somehow know all the words he's about to sing and start singing along...EH?!
Secondly, quite similar to the first, how does everyone else know the flaming dance routines too?! It's like someone's placed a damn microchip in their heads to program them to know exactly what to do at what time. Conspiracy....?
Finally, when it's all over, when all the singing and dancing is finished (thank God), what do all the extras do then? Do they just walk off? Or just stand there awkwardly thinking "Erm...what do we do now?" or even "What the heck did we just do?".
Just a thought.
Hopefully everyone will break into song and dance tomorrow at school.
