You've probably noticed, there's no video up yet that I had planned to have up yesterday...

Well, it turns out my schedule was just physically impossible to stick to.

I tried my very best to stay up as late as possible every night without actually falling asleep in my chair, but it was too big an operation to get finished yesterday. I've basically attempted a ten man job that should've taken me a week, in about 3 days...

So I'm sorry it's not up yet.

To re-iterate, there WILL be a video up, just not yet... You're probably thinking now, so what's he going on about then?

Anyways, it's Christmas!! So have a merry merry one!! :D

Drink concoction no.6. I haven't done it in about five months, but here is the latest concoction, featuring the Unmethodical Genius.... Jake Rowland!!!!

Guest Post - Things that annoy me about Christmas - by Jake Rowland

1. Christmas is in December, so why is it advertised in October?!?!?!? all an innocent guy tries to do is walk down the street and then BAM! Assaulted by Christmas advertisements/decorations ( Or in my area of Alvaston just plain assaulted) You just feel like you want to scream by the time November comes ( which is a bad idea near my house as some guy was being really loud, and a guy came out his house saying that his daughter was asleep and to quiet down, and this guy rips, yes rips, like Bruce Willis, a for sale sign off a wall and starts trashing a car with it. All while I watch nosily out of my bedroom window like a character out of Adrian Mole) I'm not a Scrooge, but seeing peoples houses covered in snow and tinsels and flashing lights in October is plain ridiculous.

2.Christmas Songs. There are possibly two decent Christmas songs and a multitude of terrible ones, when was the last time a new decent Christmas song was released? The only things that people seem to do these days is cover old songs in albums and release them themselves. (No disrespect Mr. Buble, i still love you. ♥) It's like all of the words have been used up. Y'know what? I'm going to search the last time a decent Christmas song was originally released. googling it now... opening the webpage.. (stupid slow browsers) 1988!! Two more words: Point proven!

3.Little kids. (yes I'm being stereotypical, don't like it? WELL YOU CAN make a complaint to Ben like a civilised person :) ) They are rarely cool. They wan't to play with your toys, be the centre of attention, cry a lot, believe in Santa (Yet complain to their parents when they don't get the toys they want.. :S) and worst of all, have terrible hygiene!

4.Money. You're saving all your money for presents for the few loved ones, put a bit aside for going away in the new year sales, and suddenly, your broke. Hope everyone enjoys the home-made presents. And by home-made I mean, that rubbish piece of woodwork you made at school seven years ago.

5.Cr@p presents. Not to sound like a whiny six year old but thanks uncle Anthony, I really appreciated the bag of MnM's you gave me while my brother gets a £30 gift voucher. Oh and thanks nan for my colouring book and crayons, They're going to help me a lot in my GCSE's.

100th Blog Post!

Well, it's finally here! My 100th blog post! The first milestone I've ever achieved for writing...or anything... But still we made it!! We've flippin' gone and made it! Yeah!

Well, this is awkward, I can't actually think of anything meaningful to say, other than this is my 100th post, and I'm sort of like a bit happy about it.

Since it's starring the cast it seemed quite fitting, and plus now you know why I'm deciding to upload it on the 24th, since the story revolves around then. Feeling mentally challenged? I hope you are, I excel in it. Wow! That was weird, I have no idea where that just came from...anyways yeah, that's all I can really reveal about it at the moment, I'll post some kind of synopsis soon so look out for that!

So yeah, I'd best get back on it then, remember to keep advertising it to everyone you know! I'm trying to get this video as known about as possible.

More awkwardness...Yay!

Hello there Mr. Blog, my goodness I am doing a good job of keeping you up to date now aren't I. Give me a gosh darn medal (Censoring myself incase a child somehow stumbles across this horrible blog). So yeah, as the title hints (a bit), I have more awkwardness and various other hilarious things to share.

So tonight I went to my best mate's school performance to see her sing some songs solo and with her band, and she is absolutely flipping amazing! Go listen! (http://www.youtube.com/user/MissNorton95) and as soon as I'd entered the door I was greeted with, "you've gotta sit with my parents." at which I replied with a mild "Oh" whilst thinking in my head "Oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t..." cause I've basically only properly met them like once or twice... So I just sat there thinking of things to talk about that weren't about the free peanuts on the table or the appalling state of the toilets...

Sidenote - You know how I put an unhealthy amount of brackets in my last post, I think I may end up putting a lot of ellipsis' (...'s if you're stupid, oops! brackets creeping in there!) in this one...

So yeah, that was fun, then the show started, I then got up half way through a performance and got stared at by some fool on another table, to go and purchase a 15p coke (barg) and a 15p packet o' crips (Intentional spelling of the word "crips" there, it's cool, k?), and had a minor awkward chuckle with the refreshments woman at the fact that she didn't know if she'd given me the right amount of change (She did). I then went back to be treated to a "show-stopping!" (In joke) performance of Ain't No Mountain High Enough...

Afterwards I spent some not-so-awkward "bro-time" with her boyfriend (which he doesn't like to be referred to as but I don't know if they approve of their names being put on here incase some weirdo-internet-murderer tries to track them down...If you do approve of your names being put on here do let me know...gosh they were some long brackets, go away), attached is a video of me skipping merrily through the streets that he took when we got bored...



Now, as you may or may not have noticed, Jake mentioned his name in the video, I only just noticed/realized this when I was playing it back on Youtube, so yeah, there we have it. Also, he re-created a fake bike crash at the end of the video for dramatic effect. I felt quite moved when I watched it back.

Also, at one point that night I really needed to relieve myself of a pressured bladder, so was recommended a bush on a fence, and had to endure that awkward moment when someone is standing near you whilst you go and you realize they can hear those awkward splashing sounds, so I screamed at him to stop listening and he started ringing his bike bell to drown out the sound, phew!

Anyway, I don't think I actually have much else to say now that I've exhausted all that awkwardness and compressed it into this post.

OH! And before I forget, at some point I'll be having guest posters soon, starting with my good friend Jake Rowland (mentioned above), so look forward to that!

And also, more video news. Basically right, I've slacked off a bit, and have decided to upload the video on the 24th, also because it'd be more fitting to the story to upload it then. So make sure you watch it!! I'll be advertising it everywhere! Tell your friends, your family, your pets, that creepy man next door.

So yeah, that's about it from moi.

My busy life...

Hey guys, not written anything in a while, sorry. Been pretty busy with lots of things, been working on my Christmas video quite a bit, been out a lot, and the obvious, college. So not had much time to post on my blog. But anyways, all is well, video's looking good, I'm not dying (thankfully), and life is generally ok. Went into town today with my best mate and her boyfriend to do some last last minute Christmas shopping and picked up Doom (the film) for a quid from CEX.

Ok, so it started off pretty darn well, then it got a bit slow towards the middle and I was starting to get a bit disappointed as Sky Movies had said on the cover it was "Probably the best video game to movie transition ever", but then the 5 and a half minute first person shooter bit with Karl Urban kicking the absolute crap out of everyone seriously made up for the poor acting (by other actors - obvs not Karl Urban or The Rock), and the weak-in-parts storyline, cause that's what Doom's all about really, shooting things :L

Anyway, off that now, don't want this post to turn into a film review.

Also, I have another truly awkward moment to share, that I've picked from many over the past month...

Basically, RIGHT, I was coming back from my best mate's (Yes, it was the same one, but I'm not gonna resort to saying bezzie or bestie, it's a bit no) boyfriend's school performance via the Arriva bus, (which by the way is so weird going on since I've spent my whole bus life on big busses, plus the drivers are massive chavs and it's like the company just hire people who can drive and don't give them any manners training. Sorry, this is a lot of brackets isn't it...) and when I got to the station I had a bit of time to kill before my other bus so I popped to the toilet and spent a bit of time in there, when suddenly the bloody light went out! and it was literally pitch black. I couldn't actually see my own hand in front of my face. So I took my phone out and had to torch my way out (not the burny kind of torch, the light one, I wasn't prepared to burn down the station to get out...sorry, again, the brackets...), so after about almost 10 minutes of wafting my phone around, I'd located the sinks and the light just flickered back on again. With a sigh of relief an old man walked in giving me a weird look as I was still holding my phone in the air like I was at some Bob Dylan concert. So I just awkwardly washed my hands and walked out, awkwardly...then awkwardly got on the bus and walked awkwardly the rest of the awkward way home...awkward... :/

So yeah, that's been one of the many awkward highlights of the month.. I hope to be bringing you more soon.

Right, I need to go procrastinate some more and watch DVD's.

The Unsystematic Idiot - Video Update - Christmas Video

Christmas video time!

As some of you may know, I'm doing another Crimbo video this year starring the cast of my Sammy the Cat animations. I'm still working on the script at the moment which is looking pretty good so far, then I've gotta do a whole host of other things as well as the tedious task (lol alliteration) of doing the whole stop motion animation process. Yay. Anyways, its scheduled (yes I actually made a schedule - attached) to be finished and uploaded by the 21st (hopefully the 20th) so there's something to look forward to eh...?

Anyways, that's all I have to say on the subject at the moment :) will try and keep you guys posted with some more video updates and shizz!
